Cotswolds April 2008

Twelve women enjoyed beautiful, leisurely walks in the Cotswolds, with far reaching views from the limestone escarpment. We saw lots of spring flowers, bluebells and cowslips, violets, wood anemones and primroses. Lambs were playing in the fields and the sun shone. We visited Hailes Abbey, and Belas Knap, a Neolithic burial mound on our walks. We all enjoyed excellent evening meals and the companionship of other women, as well as the comfort of our lovely hotel, and the generous hospitality of the owners. A fine spring break to start the walking year.

“I thought the weekend was excellent. All our needs were catered for and Anne made sure everyone was looked after at all times-on the walks and at the hotel & meals out. The amount of “free time” was well balanced.” Rosemary

“Lovely routes with an interesting variety of terrain etc. Excellent accommodation! Both meals very good-nice to eat in different places each night. Thoroughly enjoyable-many thanks.” Sandy
