Peak District June 2008

We had a real mixture of weather for our 3-night break at Losehill Hall, Castleton. Sunshine, rain, gales, and more sunshine made for a fantastic variety of scenery. All the walks were straight from the door, up onto the hills and ridges surrounding Castleton, with breathtaking views all around. There was plenty of hot water for showers and baths when we got back, and lots of delicious food. You can see from the smiles that we enjoyed ourselves even in the rain, but it was hard to believe this was midsummer's day! After we returned early from the hills on the one rainy day, some women went shopping, coming back pleased with finds from local antiques and jewellery shops. We finished our evenings with games and lots of laughter in front of the fire in the comfortable lounge.  "Losehill Hall was fantastic-loved the atmosphere and character of the old part of it. Location for walking was great. Good to have single rooms and own ensuite."  Jean "Thanks Anne. Your planning and consideration for your group is of the highest professional standard, yet your manner is relaxed and you never forget friendliness, fun and individual needs."  Jane more on Testimonials page…
